Legality of Pakistan Geckos

Marcia brought up a point about importing leopard geckos from Pakistan being illegal. She is half correct.

First, let me say the wild caught leopard geckos I have had been obtained legally.

Second, let’s not let this go further then it needs too, other words, beyond leopard geckos.

Marcia, where did you get the info that wild caught leopard geckos from Pakistan are illegal?

I know the laws very well in regards to this and I can say the animals I have in my hands have been properly cleared through USFWS and US Borders and Customs with full required documentation. Obviously, there were no problems and the animals are free to be sold and traded in the USA.

So, yes, we can not bring leopard geckos direct from Pakistan into the USA due to a BAN by CBP, but it is perfectly legal to import animals previously imported into another accepting country provided the animals were legally obtained through Pakistan and no foreign wildlife laws were broken. Pakistan allows trade in WC reptiles, and most countries allow import from Pakistan of live reptiles. The USA can acquire live reptile from most countries. See any problems there? Nothing shady and everything is out in the open.

In order to try to make things right and re-gain your credibility in this industry you need to pay back everyone you stole from, admit that you were wrong, and make some apologies. After hearing one bull crap story after another pour out of your mouth in Angleton I would never have trusted anything you said or did. Soon after there were over a hundred pages of horror stories of people you screwed over all over the world on the BOI that proved my gut feeling to be true. It's too bad all of those people didn't see you for the shady "salesman" that you are... I don't want people I don't trust as a part of this family.
