Leopard may not like UVB

For the first year of her life, our leopard didn't have any lights, just ceramic and under tank heat sources. She spent most of her time on top of her hide, under the heater.

Recently I stumbled into a free Reptisun UVB tube light so I installed it in her tank. In the morning I turn the light on. She will stay outside for 1-5 minutes, and then she runs inside her hide. She stays in the hide all day. When I turn the light off, she immediately comes back out and hangs outside all night.

Is the UVB doing her any good? Is the new hiding behavior a way of telling me she doesn't like the UVB?

Maybe the light is so much brighter than she's used to that she doesn't like it. Most leopard geckos (not all) spend the days in their hides sleeping so the light doesn't do much for them.
