I noticed the other day that the bigger of my 2 geckos was trying to walk up the side of the tank... He did it for ages and did it for quite a few days and now my other one has started doing it... Is something wrong or are they just telling me they want to come out?

Mine does that too. He does NOT want me to take him out (he hates it). I dont know why they do this.

They could be in too small of a tank and are trying to explore more territory,or if its too hot the can be trying to get away to find a cooler location...but mostly i think they are just being active and kinda bored.

My brother's one gecko does it all the time, but the other three we own don't try it. I think it may be their new favorite game, or they are becoming lunatics. :p

I have two out of eleven that do this. I broke down, and got an inflatable toddler wading pool. Each one gets his turn in the pool (minus water, of course) with dubias. Seems to satisfy them.

rango used to do this and would screech at me, she wanted food. Shes actually not a leopard gecko at all though, in reality shes a small pig with a skin condition.
I know its hard to tell but heres a pic,
