So ive aquired some new leos 3 pairs but neither female are ovulating :( all the males a obviously quite interested vibrating there tails when they see them in the other tank but when introduced the females were not best pleased so there all split up again for what looks like the best part of 1-3 months for ovulation correct me if im wrong ... Was really hoping to get them dreamsicles (dreamsickles) hatched out this next few months ( just impatiant ) lol but can never be to carefull with suck amazing reptiles! Anyway does any one have same situation or maybe some advice for me? Also are you hoping to produce your 1 in a million gecko this year?????

You're right, it's still early in the season. Of the 5 leopard geckos that are big enough to breed now (I'll have 3 more ready in the next few months), 1 has ovulated and laid her first clutch and only one other is ovulating. This is about what I expect. My geckos usually begin to ovulate between Feb. and June and it's not unusual for the first few clutches, even with the experienced breeders, not to hatch. I agree, it's REALLY hard to wait. THere are times early in the season, when I feel as if nothing is going to work out but it always does. Just hang in there.
