Things are looking good ! With the new UTH temps are holding 88-92 with a 94 hotspot that I found tho small , going to move the probe for the Thermostat to it. Hotside air temps are at 84-86 Cool side is at 77.3 Everything look good ? Any suggestions ? My father also found a 20gal long at a sale that he is bringing home with him but that will be at the end of the month. Thanks for all the help as well ! I have setup an appointment to visit the local breeder on Saturday at 9am ! Some Images hope they are right side up.

Tried to but a few crickets in early this morning , no go there , I do have a dish of mealworms in case the leo does get hungry and wants to eat them. Will wait a few days before trying crickets again.

This first week is going good , she is having bowel movements and eating 4-5 crickets at night while we are all asleep. She is starting to come out more during the day and evening while I'm awake and moving in my room.

Today I got a 20 gal long and a 30-40 gal uth . using repti-carpet for the time being till I can get slate tiles. I moved it to the downstairs where its warmer. Temps in the new cage are 88-91 and holding much longer, The cool side stays at a constant 77. Also bought a few new hides for it. Kinda worried moving my little leo so early especially now since shes eating allot. But I figured I should get it done and over, the new home is so much better. Any ideas on how to make the move easier ? Pics to come tomorrow.

Make sure to have dry hides on the cool and warm sides, and I'd suggest one in the middle too. Chances are good your leo won't hardly ever have to go to the cool side; she'll likely just go back and forth between hot and middle. Plus, the more hides, the more secure she can feel - can never have too many hides. I'm sure she'll do well in the new tank. :)

Got her into the new enclosure today , she is more active now in the 20gal l than she was in the 10 gallon. It was a big surprise , shes even eating ! Handled the move better than I would !

That's good. This is why I say 20 longs should be minimum for a gecko. They do so much better. Glad she likes it. :)
