Just an update on our tiny Afghanicus...now 5 month old and 9 grams :)
"She" have kind of strange looking eyes, but she is doing just fine without any help at all. So it seems like she can see without problems.

She's beautiful!

Eublepharis m. afghanicus are a dwarf sub species of the Leopard gecko...

Well, they are not dwarfs...just the smallest of the Leopardgeckos ;)
But "My" is very small, even to be an Afghanicus...When she hatched she was under 1 gram and she was feed with the smallest insects that the breeder could find in his garden...even newly hatched crickets was to big for her. But she is a fighter and today she is eating mealworms and crickets...

I am sure I saw someone asking about their "normal" hatch weight...I can´t answer that, beacuse I haven´t hatched any myself yet, but they are smaller than normal sized hatchlings.

Here is two more pics that better shows her size. On the second one she is with an Afghanicus that is a week younger than "My"....

She is awesome and soooooo small! I have question. What would happen if you breed this subspecies with a leopard gecko?

She definitely is a VERY sweet one lotta:main_yes: !!!
Remember my little afghanicus-female with the bandit-pattern?
Well, "she" turned out to be a "he" -and I'm so happy with that :) !
I'm curious what he will produce with different females..
