Well we found a little Teacup Chihuahua today, running around the parking lot, no collar or anything. We took him in and are keeping him for now to see if anyone is looking for him.. if not, we'll keep him, he's such a little sweetheart :sweetheart:

He sure is cute! Chihuahuas are notoriously bad about breaking out and cruising the neighborhood. A neighbor's chihuahua used to end up in our back yard every day until a different neighbor said they'd take him and keep him inside. The previous owners didn't know and never put out any lost dog signs so he's in a way better home now. Hopefully this little guy ends up having the same story! ;)

He's cute... Looks like a regular sized Chihuahua though... They can rang from 2 pounds and up, so there's really not a teacup version. (Same with yorkies.)

Hey maybe you will get to keep him he sure is cute and Az is known for having lots of strays due to people not wanting to care for them,it is a crying shame as animals have feelings just as we do,hope you the best on keeping him.

Thanks everyone  we ended up finding out that she's a girl. We were pretty confused, but we randomly ran into a guy that has a bunch of chihuahuas and wants to breed them, and so he helped us out :) We named her Lilu (Leelu?).. from the movie 5th element

Whitney, yes I have been reading a lot about the "teacup" puppies and I've found that they aren't any particular breed or anything, just bred to be smaller.. She will probably grow to be much bigger, she's still a puppy and is teething right now. I would say she's only 1 lb. at the moment.

Mel, that very well could be the case with this little one. She didn't seem like she was taken very well care of, and she's already attached herself to us. When we take her outside, she doesn't try to go wherever her other "home" may have been, she just stays with us! We'll definitely be keeping her inside and we hope that noone comes looking for her because we love her to pieces already!

Daidra, we are like a lost animal shelter. We have five cats, and now this dog, and all of them were strays once upon a time. They just show up at our doorstep, or in the dog's case, out in front of our apartment in the parking lot. We can't leave them outside to suffer and have no food, so we always bring them in and feed them. Then we end up falling in love with them and can't let them go lol

We went and got her a nice little collar, and we ordered some clothes for her lol I suppose if someone is looking for her, we'll just give them the clothes and everything too

had to take some more pics with the collar:

I forgot to add, she has also made it very clear that she really enjoys humping my leg :main_rolleyes: I have to admit, I was rolling on the floor laughing from it. I put her on Mike's leg, and she just got up and came back to mine lol
