if you pair a mack eclipse x mack eclipse, you'll get super mack eclipse that carries true eclipse gene right?
so if you pair the offspring, which is the Super mack eclipse to any Eclipse, it should produce Eclipse hatchlings?:main_huh:

and one more thing about eclipse. 50% snake eyes X 50% snake eyes can produce various eclipse % hatchlings? from 25% to 100%? or will it only produce 50% eclipse eye?

Mack Eclipse x Mack Eclipse will produce 25% Eclipses, 50% Mack Eclipses, and 25% Super Snow Eclipses. Super Snow Eclipse x Eclipse will produce 100% Mack Eclipses.

thanks!
and the eclipse produced will vary from snake eyes to total eclipse right?

Eclipes snow SPLIT Super snow X Eclipse snow SPLIT Super snow = .

Eclipse normal.
Eclipse aberrant.
Eclipse hyper aberrant.
Eclipse striped.
Eclipse reverse striped.
Eclipse patternless striped.
Eclipes snow SPLIT Super snow.
Eclipes snow aberrant SPLIT Super snow.
Eclipes snow hyper aberrant SPLIT Super snow.
Eclipse snow striped SPLIT Super snow.
Eclipes snow reverse striped SPLIT Super snow.
Eclipse snow patternless striped SPLIT Super snow.
Eclipse super snow.
========
Eclipes super snow X Eclipse will result in 100%Eclipse and 100%Snow SPLIT Super snow.
With the plus other trait that the Eclipse may be.

BUT.
Eclipse super snow X Eclipse snow SPLIT Super snow = .

Eclipse snow SPLIT Super snow.
Eclipse super snow.
========
The percent of iris black out expressed in Eclipse is random and unpredictable.
100%Eclipse X 100%Eclipse can produce any thing from 1% to 100% iris black out.
Even reverted Eclipse where there's no iris black out, But the leo is 100% a Eclipse genetically.

Whats up with all the pattern variants and the SPLIT stuff? Is that your way of calling it a Snow...Split SS = Mack Snow? When people are confused about a pairing I think its best to keep it simple for them (like Tony did) because even your explanation makes no sense to me and I know genetics.

Carlo - Tony already stated what the pairing would/can produce, I would stick with what he said because I know that it correct based off of first hand experience.

All the pattern variants coz that's what you can expect from a leo with Eclipse ancestory. I reconize the Eclipes eye trait and the body pattern as seperate and state them as such.

SPLIT just means Heterozygous. Codominant snows are visual HET's for Super snow, But the reptile community associate HET with Recessive traits, And use the term 1-COPY for HET Dominant traits, I use the term SPLIT for HET Codominant traits.
