I know a few of us hatched out Mack Enigmas with solid black eyes earlier this year. I sold all of mine this past summer, so I'm not sure what they look like now. Does anyone else have any that retained two solid black eyes into adulthood?

I hatched a couple that I thought 'might' qualify as "MSBEE's", but am still not sure. I hope the people that bought them will chime in and maybe even post pics!

Just the one that have the Eclipse gean in them. :main_thumbsup:

Who's gean?:main_evilgrin:

Seriously though, are you 100% sure about that? I hatched a mack enigma with no eclipse genes involved at all that still had solid black eyes when I sold him at around 25 grams.

I have one of the "MSBEE"s that Marcia is speaking of. Her spotting is increasing a lot as she ages, and her eyes look to be solid black, but upon close examination with good lighting you can see that her eyes are not solid.

BEE is a enigma showing the eclipse eye trait.

I hatched a few mack enigmas and even a non mack enigma that was solid eyed from non eclipse line animals. The eyes lighted up between 9 and 30 grams to show very visible pupils.

Here is one of the geckos Marcia is talking about. Her eyes are just know starting to fade at 40 grams. But you can see the black blotches which were a lot more prominent. I don't know if its the eclipse gene or not but something is going on!
