Hi,

At the begining I want to say that isn't my first breeding seson. My female started ovulating so I decided to breed her with my new male, which I bought for her. I think that is first breeding seson for this male and that he never saw a female before :) When I put the female in male container he doesn't do anything. Sometimes I see a short tail vibration but only for momment and often all ends on this. I am sure that female is ovulating ... Any tips how can I increase the male activity, maybe some pills? xD joke.

Hope you will have some good advices :]

Well don't put the female into the males cage, put the males into the females. Switching the female can cause her to be less receptive to his advances which could be your problem. What is the males weight/age (if known)? Temps? You can try using a paper towel which has been scented by a breeding male as well.

I don't know how old is he, but I am sure that he is more than 1 year. He is about 61 grams. Now male is with female in her container a there they have 28-29 C degrees

Bump temps and give that a try and if he still doesn't lock give it a couple days and try again. Males will breed as long as the female accepts. There may be a 0.1% chance he wont but that's not very common.

That's far too cool. (About 84F for any of you reading)...You want a hotspot of about 90-95F (~33C - 35C).

But 29 is a temperature in the upper part of the box. I am using heat cable so when it works, the temperature in downer parts is higher. There are places in which there is more heat cable, so the temperature is higher there. I think that in the hot spot temperature is about 32-33 C degrees.

I had a male who I never saw mate with the female, but lots of babies resulted. Just because you're not seeing it, it doesn't mean it's not happening. I recommend keeping them together for a week, separating them and seeing what "develops".
