Male self breeding

A few minutes I noticed a commotion in one of the gecko cages. Apparantly, the male had tried to mate with one of the females and she took off. The male ended up grabbing his own tail and had not yet figured out that it wasn't his partner. He was starting to move in that jerky, mating way, biting his own tail. I left him alone for a few moments, but he just didn't get it so I finally had pity on him and clued him in.

My Male Blizzard did something similar to that and I ended up helping him to 'clue' him in on which end and so forth. Also his first time. After that, he had no issues :main_thumbsup:
