My Crestie's will also eat meal worms
it is a very small part of their diet-CGD coming first-crix next and meal worms last

i never tried it before just because i never heard if you should or shouldnt. I dont see why not, but between the CGD, crickets, fruit and baby food i dont see a need to try meal worms also.

Many people say not to feed them mealworms because of the hard exoskeleton, making them hard to digest. I have only tried mealworms ith my guys once, and they ate them after a few days of sitting in the bowl. They definitely like crickets better.

That kinda makes sense, i mean, they eat fruit and the CGD is just mush and small crickets are very fragile, meal worms might just be too hard for their digestive system to handle.

That is exactly right. and they hold very little nutritional value to cresteds.
