Mealies turning into short fat things...

So, some of my mealies are morphing into weird little short and fat mutant-looking things. Does this mean they're about to change into beetles? They're grossing me out! Haha :main_laugh:, wait, I mean ewwwww!

Yes, that's it exactly. These are pupae, and are equivalent to when caterpillars spin cocoons (although there are no cocoons here). Most people call them "aliens" for obvious reasons. Within a week or 2 they will turn into beetles.
