Mealworm foodstuffs?

Ok so I have some meal worms and recently put some banana and banana peel in there, is this good for them to gut load with? Will it be beneficial or harmful to my gecko in any way? All help is appreciated!

Lol I don't know I just figured that they wouldn't be too picky being insects and all. I just wanted to know whether or not this stuff, if devoured by the meal worms, would be healthy for my girl.

Banana peel would be nutritional, however I am not sure on the need for much potassium for geckos. I use carrots, potatoes, greens, and chicken scratch for my worm colonies. Try the banana peels and let us know how that works out.

Well so far they seem to be all over it. I didn't stir in the peel or fruit of the banana when I introduced them to the worms and now I open the lid and there is nothing in site! I mean I'm sure if I dig down I'll find something but they seem to have no problem with either one I guess we'll have to see what happens when I introduce the worms to my gecko (whom I don't currently have a name for)

I have used bananna before in with my mealworms and they seemed to like it, the geckos liked it as well, i usually use apple/carrots, but 1 tub with banana in I don't think will do any harm.
