Thank you!! Now, if I can just convince those girls that mealworms are DELICIOUS........ ;) Nemo eats only mealworms (thank you Paul!!)

Very nice! No way, I have 3 amel fatties too... 1.1 stripe and 0.1 banded. My male stripe was actually the first gecko I ever bought (last year). Got him from VMS Herp. Then I got a pair of females from Dan The Fireman and he got me hooked on leos with all the pictures of his awesome rainwaters and redstripes. The funny thing is that so far I'm only working with tremper strain leos.

I was a little surprised when my 1.2 group of fat tails started producing eggs, as they were still a little on the small side and young. The eggs were pretty small too. Unfortunately none of those eggs made it. I sure hope I get some next year. One fellow leo breeder I know thinks that AFT's have low fertility rates. We'll see.

Oh yeah, mine are exclusively cricket eaters, though I haven't really tried much to convert them to anything else. I bet they'd go for superworms, maybe I'll try soon.

My male will eat crix and supers, the female on the other hand is strictly crix. They all have their own preference. I have read on many occasions that AFT's seem to be less fertile then Leo's. I'm waiting for my female to start ovulating, I haven't bred my AFT's yet.

Having a non-feeding period for a week - resulting in very hungry afts - and then introducing only mealis for a while should do it. :S
