Venessa , is that an eastern indigo snake?

Actually, it's the Texas subspecies of Indigo snake, Drymarchon corias erebennus. I actually haven't seen an Eastern yet.

It appears to be a bit light for an Indigo IMO...I might be way off, but i'll give it a whack...is it a Brown Water Snake?

Yeah, y'see, this sucker ATE wildlife biologists, so it got really big!

Let me rephrase that. In my job being tall sucks. For everything else it's great.

I don't like being the tall, skinny guy that gets thrown in the attic space during fires. For those who don't know. I'm a firefighter.

You quote me on this and I'll deny it until the end of time. I get thrown in the attic because I have no gut compared to some of the others lol. I don't mind it most of the time, it's great and I just hang out on the truss until it's time to come down.

Well I knew you were at least over 6 feet tall because you look very similar to my ex boyfriend back in high school - he was 6ft 7inches tall. He played basketball and was a volunteer firefighter as well. Must be something about fires that draws tall guys to them.
