Metaldad i would have to agree. i'm not a fan of barking into a mic and calling it vocals. granted Dethklok is a freaking sweet band for 2 reasons 1 fictional band 2 they are european.

Any one have any opinions on Trivium? i think they have taken the thrash metal into a sweet direction. Given back the solos that bands have thought needed to be gone. I feel as if the torch was handed to them after grunge then nu metal. Now it;s finally back to songs that really do something for the guitarist. E Standard or anything other the drop D B or C.

Exactly!

Trivium is one of my favorite bands, they have one of the best mixtures of several genres of rock i've seen and an unbelievable amount of talent. I'm really impressed with their new album, and even when they do something questionable they listen to their fans and correct it (ala the Crusade....which was sooooo mediocre). Anyone that wants to here one of the best songs in years listen to "Kirsute Gomen", it's a classic. Vocals are top notch and the band is just unreal.

Hahaha, nobody is faulting you, to each is own. There are a few bands out there that i'm sure some of the "metal snobs" (like myself) would make fun of but they're amusing to me at least. Hell, let's be realistic....Lamb Of God isn't exactly a model of musical perfection, but i find it enjoyable when i need some pointless angry yelling

Keith is a good good man. Mel you need to keep me update with what you guys are working with. i have been meaning to take a peak at what you guys have. I'm in the market to expand my collection by about 10. Marcia, Brittney, Steve, and Eric all have my eyes on them and it's not going to hurt taking a look at what ya got too.

I know that they were both invited. When they were announced they said that Dave and Jason were both going to be inducted with them and that they want them there. So who knows how deep the bad blood goes. We will see on Saturday.
