"Midnight" Mack Blizzard? ...or a SS Blizzard?

I'm not sure what to think about this one. Some of female blizzards for my Mack x Blizzard project are exceptionally dark and this is the second clutch I've had hatch where neither baby has any yellow, although one is much darker than the clutchmate. All four of these are from the same pair and hatched within the past two days (one clutch from each incubator).

The alleged Mack Blizzards:

The non-Mack Blizzards:

Any thoughts?

EDIT: Oops, forgot to mention that the dad is a Mack het Blizzard

I say they are awesome Paul! I certainly hope to be joining the Mack Blizzard hatchers group very, very soon!! They are beautiful!

*Edit, I'm not sure hatchers is a word, but you get my point...lol

Very nice! I wouldn't count on the darker one staying dark because Steve Sykes hatched out a Snow Blizzard last year that was literally black, but after a couple months was just as white as the others. Too bad...

Any chance the dad is the Mack Snow het Blizzard 50% het Bell I sold Jeremy back in February? He'd said you might be sharing him.

Nope. My male Mack het Blizzard is from Kelli. I wasn't getting any fertile eggs from the females he had been paired with until I threatened him with being replaced. All of the eggs from then on have been fertile (I'm not kidding - it's kind of funny).

I don't really know because I haven't started working on the Mack x Blazing project, but I would assume that a Mack Blazing would have zero black and zero yellow. (All of my blazings have hatched with a decent amount of yellow.)

Wow! That's nuts! If you're going to be looking to outcross your Snow Blizzards I should produce a good amount female Snow Blizzards that I'd swap with you. Eggs are due to start hatching in three weeks and every couple of weeks after hopefully until Fall. I want to get totally unrelated females for next year and I'll be selling every female from my Snow Blizz project except for SS Blizzards and SS 66% het Blizzards.

I was just checking on these guys again and noticed that the mom's ID number wasn't one of my "familiar" blizzards. The mom is a blizzard I got as possibly a mack snow (from a mack het bliz. x bliz.) so I checked their eyes. The darker baby has solid black eyes. So I'm guessing she's a super snow blizzard?

ITs also very possible another wretch was thrown in and you have either e eclipse blizard or a eclipse codom blliz, rather then a ssbliz. I dont see how you couldget a ssbliz if the mom was bliz and the dad was codom het bliz. But these crazy blizzards and their eyes have thrown a loop in alot of projects...lol I think its a eclipse bliz, but if you can post a pic of mom and dad that would probably help.
