Mini Fridge issue; anyone else?

I've posted some info about this before in another context but I thought I"d give it a thread of its own. I have the Reptipro5000 and have found that it is much quicker to turn on the heating function when necessary than to turn on the cooling function when necessary. That means that when the ambient temperature goes up a lot, I have to turn the programmed setting down to maintain the temps I want. Since I incubate in the low range (81/82), it means a bunch of adjusting here in NE.

It's still an open question as far as I'm concerned whether the mini fridge incubators sold by lllreptile, kemp, reptipro, big apple and possibly others, and which all look the same, are indeed the same on the inside or not. I'd be curious to know if anyone else with any of these minifridges is having the smae problem.

I'm bringing this up again to see if anyone has any more thoughts. This is still an issue for me, especially when a heat wave started here while I was away. Am I really the only one having heating/cooling issues with the commercially bought mini-fridge incubators?

I am not 100% sure but the general thought is that they are all the exact same minifridge...
