she loves to be scratched on hehe she was grumpy because her daddy was by her (standing outside of camera range) and she (most of the time) doesn't like her daddy, unless she wants something heh

lol my aunts birds are like that,
they hate my uncle unless he has something they want (sunflower seeds, anything shiny, or anything they think would look better in their nest)

Yes she does. I thought she was just a weirdo, but I guess it’s typical of the species…

Is yours nasty as heck to people she doesn’t know, too?

she can be but not too bad. she dislikes russ the most.

is yours a for sure female? sue has no ring or no sign of a ring. i have not got get sexed yet. she is about 18 months old

Mine has a lighter green rings (she's all green and not white with teal), but she is a for sure female. I found an egg on the bottom of the cage once.

She must be very bonded to you to have laid an egg...that or its a sign of inappropriate(sp?) petting...if you pet her back she takes it as a sign of mating and lays eggs...I learned that the hard way with an overly frisky cockatiel...:main_yes:

clyde, our male, has not gotten his full ring yet, he is just starting to get it (he isnt even a year yet) but man he has started talking up a storm! sue our female does not talk. only "hi" and "hello"
