It is nature.... Tarantulas eat live prey. How is it different than feeding crickets and worms to leos?

I used to feed my T. blondi tarantulas rat pinks. I feed my leopard geckos live linky mice every month. Some of our snakes only will eat live rats and not frozen thawed. It's just the nature of the animals.

i have a rose hair, but i havent tried feeding it mice yet, its my first spider, since i was scared of them for like 20 years lol, but i got over that by holding my friends ros hair

Thanks for letting me know Nevin. The problem is, when it's posted on a public forum, not everyone knows she's kidding, and people can get upset. As a matter of fact, some folks did get upset, which is how the post got noticed. So...........some food for thought. NO PUN INTENDED, LOL!!

I feed off live to my snakes so I dont have a problem with feeding live, but you mentioned that it was natural. I havent done much research but arnt tarantula's insectivores?

tarantulas will eat anything they can get their fangs into. especially the type in the picture. its a golaith bird eating tarantula. they dont eat birds all that often. but tend to feed on small mammles and reptiles
