Morph identification

Sorry for jumping into this thread . Its the newest one on the list and i dont want to make a new thread unnecesarily . Long story short i need help with a morph please . We rescued him about 2 months ago . I am not a breeder , nor do i intend to breed with him . But would like to know what tipe of morph he is . He is 18,5cm long , weighs 73grams , age unknown . Any info would be appreciated thank you

Welcome! He may have the stripe trait, at least on the body. That's where the black markings at birth run from shoulder to vent rather than from side to side. The black bands eventually break up into spots and migrate around the body but it does look as if the side to side bands were broken up, which is what leads to the stripe trait. The tail is regenerated and doesn't look striped. Usually a gecko that has broken body or tail bands but not both is called "aberrant". In addition, you could call your gecko "high yellow' which basically means that it's a normal leopard gecko with fewer spots than usual (so you can see a lot of yellow), but not so few spots that you'd call it a hypo.
