I know some can't really be answered except by the indiviual owners tastes but...

What is the most sought after Leopard Geckos?
What is the most Popular Leo?
What is considered the prettiest Leos?

What morph is the frailest?
What morph is the hardiest?

Sorry for so many questions but these thoughts are on my mind
so where better to turn & ask these questions?

Thanks,
Michael

Most sought after (is personal taste)- Super Snow Eclipse Enigma
Most popular (debatable)- for some a real nice normal, other bright tangs, and for me Mack Eclipse Enigma and other non albino form snows.
Prettiest (again preference)- I like leos with patterns. All white leos are boring. I think the snow and enigma makes awesome looking leos, or a really crazy tang enigma.
as far as frail and hardiest- I personally have had no problems that are a result of the morph. That's mainly up to good husbandry and good genetics.

It all boils down to what you like and what you see as an attractive gecko.

I'd have to say the most sought after would be the black pearl, a blue leopard gecko (questionable if it exists), and typhoons.

Most popular? probably normals and such, but that's totally a guess.

Prettiest would depend on the person your asking, I love anything enigma.

Frail and hardiest, the morphs don't really change much about a gecko other then the genetics and appearance. Although blizzards are known to have a mean temperament occasionally, and enigmas have other issues like circling, balance, head tilting, etc.
But I wouldn't say the genetics really change the hardiness about them, like Travis said it's up to the care.

I'll give it a shot. Though somewhat opinion-based, I think it holds some general truths.

What is the most sought after Leopard Geckos? Black Pearl
What is the most Popular Leo? Anything with Tremper Albino in it. If you look at the classifieds, about 80% of the geckos on there have Tremper in them, or are het tremper. It's a big turnoff for me, personally.
What is considered the prettiest Leos? The "prettiest" leos are probably the ones that hold the truest color in any form. The whitest mack snows, the brightest/reddest tangs, the greenest emerines, the darkest hypermelanistic, etc.
What morph is the frailest? Albinos are super-sensitive to light. Some enigmas have a motor skills disorder.
What morph is the hardiest? I'm not sure there is any morph that's hardier than others.

I pretty much agree with this. On a personal basis, my most sought after leo right now (which will change once I get it) is a diablo blanco.

And I think the tremper's are so popular because they can be so diverse with their patterns.
Anyways, those are my thoughts =]

What is the most sought after Leopard Geckos? - Personally, Super Snows, Enigma/Macks, Mack snows, Black Pearl:D.
What is the most Popular Leo? - Around where I live, everyone seems to have SHT. I think they went on "overload" here.
What is considered the prettiest Leos? - I think all Leo's have different traits in which make them pretty. I couldn't narrow it down really, but I like bold markings (jungles, snows etc), bright colors (firewaters, sunglows). Just depends on what I'm looking for, example - I'm looking for a pair of Super Snows right now, I'm wanting them with very bold spotting. Before I was looking for a Bell with deep very deep Chocolate marks.

What morph is the frailest? - I'd say enigma. They seem to have the most issues to battle with currently.
What morph is the hardiest? - I think all are pretty hardy if received in a good health state. But my Tangerines seem to be the biggest, fattest, most active Leos I have.

Nice Question! :main_thumbsup:

What is the most sought after Leopard Geckos? on a personal level, it is the certain projects i am working on at the time... as a whole, the most sought after gecko IMO is a new morph.
What is the most Popular Leo? Tangerines. More line bred tangerines than i can shake a stick at... and no, that isnt a bad thing ;)
What is considered the prettiest Leos? Personal preference. I LOVE SSBE's, their eyes are breath taking!!

What morph is the frailest? I wouldnt say it is frail, but it has its know problems, Enigma. Though i do own an enigma who acts as normal and eats as well as any of my other geckos
What morph is the hardiest? All geckos can be hardy when proper husbandry is enforced.

I personally don't think that anyone can really answer these questions, because each answer will vary on an individual basis, based on each persons views and how they see it...

I mean, i could answer these questions and say that the most saught after would be a the creation of a new morph, the most popular would be a Raptor, the prettiest would be the Enigma (since it is known as the "morph enhancer"... brings out colors and makes them brighter, and enhances certain features), the frailest would be any albino, because they are sensitive to light, and the hardiest would be giants/super giants because of how much they eat and how big they get.... But again, these would be my own personal opinions, and someone may come up after me, and have completely different answers and ideas on it, based on the way they see it.

And that person would not be any more correct than i, because the answers for these questions would be strictly opinion.

I have 2 giants and a super giant and they actually eat less then my others. :main_rolleyes:

Toughs questions cannot be answered, they are way to opinionated. Now, overall... High quality tangs are very popular and sought after. No matter what peoples favorite morphs are, high quality tangs are wanted. Based on what I have seen.

+1, but I also think that the forums has a lot of influence on what we perceive as popular and sought after. Since a lot of us buy from each other we kinda have become focused on the same projects and all that. Once again to answer your question though, It is all 100% based on personal preference

I couldn't agree more with the posters above. - Although I already answered the questions but did that based on my personal feelings/observations.

Like stated above people will answer the questions based on how they feel, or even what may be available around them. If you are asking the questions to get a Leo, pick a morph that you find attractive! Because in the end you are the one that will be looking after it. I know some people who will say Blizzards are unattractive. Or who wont buy a Leo unless it has spots everywhere....But again that's based on personal view of what is "attractive" to them, right!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I believe goes the same for geckos. What maybe your least favorite morph, could be someone else most desired morph! That's also the nice thing about Leo's, is there's so many morphs to choose from I find that once you may think you've got your favorite, one comes around that takes your breath away! - I never really cared for the "Black Pearls" found them rather "plain" but after seeing some of them, I think they are crazy beautiful. If they weren't $4000 or so, I would definitely pick one up!

Exactly.

Perfect Example: I personally dislike Bells. I don't think they are attractive at all. This is my own personal opinion, and i am attracted more towards Tremper's. I don't think i will ever own a Bell Albino, except to maybe make RADAR's, cuz i love those. And Bell's happen to be VERY popular, and alot of people are strictly all about the Bell Albino's. But as for me, they're just not for me. Me, i don't care for them, but the next 5 people after me prolly love em! To each their own.

Thats crazy. All my Giants eat the most out of all my geckos! I can refill their dishes full of worms 5 times in a row while they just sit there waiting on it, and they will keep scarfin it down, almost to the point that it looks like they are going to pop! (now no1 get worried, ok, i don't do this on a regular basis... I'm just saying... lol)

btw, where in FL are you? Anywhere near Lake Worth?
