sweet tokay I love these things, I remember they are what started it all for me in 1st grade when I found a book on geckos and these were on the cover

Awesome tokay, Ashley. I think you're definitely playing it safe with him behind glass, because they'll definitely try to "tear your face off". LOL! I had one of those guys years ago. His name was Heathen. LOL!

lol I would pet my leachie over a tokay any day!
If I bump ito this one's tank, he growls like a cougar.

Did you get him just to look at? I dont think I'd want a pet that I was scared of :main_no:

Why are Tokays so mean?

Yes, he's definitely a look don't touch pet for me. I have some big roaches, so I needed something to get rid of them ;) I bought a few geckos from someone at a show and they threw him in free.

They are actually really intelligent geckos and if you are lucky enough to gain their trust, can be handled. They guard their eggs and some people have even seen them guard offspring. If raised correctly and handled often, CB offspring are actually easier to tame.
