These two females are part of my Mack Snow Blizzard project this year. They are actually about the same size, but Ms. Blizz just laid a huge egg a few days ago. They're now 62 and 66 grams, but each are barely seven inches if that. I'll be using Chiquita next year for my Tang Blizzard project. She has a hint of orange at the base of her tail so I think it's possible...

Sorry the pic is a little out of focus and not too flattering for Ms. Blizz...

Cool Michael! That yellow one is a blizzard? I don't think I've seen one that colorful before...nice

I agree, she looks like a Patternless to me, have you proven her out to be a Blizzard? If i is a Blizzard, it is VERY cool!

The guy I got her from bought her as a Banana Blizzard from Prehistoric Pets. So unless he was bsing me she's definitely a Blizzard and maybe a Patternless too. :main_thumbsup:

That actually makes sense, a Banana Blizzard is a Blizzard/Patternless in one, so that explains the yellow coloration

I always thought "banana blizzards" were just yellow-ish blizzards. I just read on prehistorics website about how they bred a bliz to a patty and got a banana blizzard (a patternless blizzard) the first season. I wonder...did they breed it back to patternless and/or blizzards to be sure it was actually expressing both traits at the same time? Makes me wonder what's really going on with combination of the patty x blizz genes. I know there have been some unexpected results with macks that are het for blizzard or patternless...??

Yup! Hopefully I prove her out through her offspring before I start the Tang Blizzard project because if she is double homozygous I won't use her for that. I may go back to the Bell Blazing Banana Blizzard idea, but that might be a little too crazy.

Just reading that now Paul?! :p Some of the Banana Blizzard baby pics definitely look like a cross of the two morphs. I think the two are very closely related and that may be why the cross has been a hard one to do.

That yellow one does look very blizzardish.... I do not think the head looks like a patternless... I also do not see a faint pattern... It does have a few blizzard qualities....

Very nice Mike... Good luck with that tangerine blizzard project... Looks like it may work out for you...
