Interesting, but confusing. :main_yes:

I did buy a "double het" from JMG reptiles, that did not seem to prove out, I figured maybe there are more than one line of stripes tho`. Could be, I guess!

The exact cross that made the Patternless Stripes for me, was a Reverse Stripe Albino from you(Marcia) and a Red Stripe from Dan Lubinsky. I`m not sure either why it would be any different. The Reverse Stripe Albino is more of a "partial" Reverse Stripe, and looks a bit like an Aptor. Just thought maybe that has something to do with it, but Alberto made some as well, with geckos from Ron and Red Stripes from HQR.

Well, I guess there's no simple answer then than "they're just not the same patternless" if anyone asks for now
LOL! When people ask me, and I get asked a LOT, I tell them this:

- A Murphy Patternless is a distinctly unique, simple recessive morph in and of itself. No two genes created it... it is a random, genetic mutation.

- a Tremper patterness (the "P" in R/APTOR) was created by combining two separate and different patterned morphs. It is not a random genetic mutation. It is a 'combined' morph.
