My adult beardy has had problems eating salad his entire life and i feel like i have tried every technique out there from mixing dead crickets into it to scenting it. he is not unhealthy and his shape looks good but he just wont eat salad on his own. so he basically has been eating meal worms and crickets his entire life.
Any suggestions?

Mine really won't either. Once in awhile I can get him to eat squash or other bright veggies, but he doesn't like greens at all. I wish I had some advice. Just make sure he's getting a good multi vitamin along with the bugs.

My beardies are hardly eating at all right now; both are in brumation

Otherwise, how about if you got some salad, cut it real small, put it in a bowl with some mealworms or super worms? Maybe the salad would get ingested accidentally and it will start him off.

To get my skink to eat veggies when I got him, I dripped cat food juice on the veggies (his previous owners had been feeding only cat food). Maybe you could get your bearded dragons to try the salad by mashing up insects to make a slurry and then using that to coat the salad?
