My bell enigma is having prolaps since this morning what to do???

and how do i only soak the hemi-penis i think that almost inpossible

I think what we're all saying is that you don't HAVE to soak the entire animal, it's just important that the hemipene gets the soaking. So make the water deep enough that that hemipene is definately in the water, say maybe half way up the belly?

My bell engigma that's 85 grams just got over it. It took my guy about 4 days for it to retract back in. I removed him from the females I had them with. Cleaned off the vermiculite from it with a qtip moist from the sugar water solution. Tried the sugar bath method a couple times the first day. Then I went to just prep h a few times a day. I know alot of people might frown a bit for it being out for that long without going to a vet. I could tell their was no loss of circulation and that it was staying moist. As to not dry out and become necrotic. Just wanted to share my experience with you. Maybe it will help. I'm probably going to give the guy a few weeks before i introduce him to any more females this season.

I use the witch hazel for thinning my tattoo inks and have used it in the past for hemipenes, in most cases just a moistened 6 quart does the trick. I have only had hemi-pene prolapse about 4 times, and only one case was witch hazel worthy. If a moistened cage doesn't work though a vet maybe the best answer. My buddy had one that was just horrible looking because he did not want to take it to the vet. The poor little guy had to be put down because of infection.

So when i wake up today i have checked him and its still out him so i put it again in a suger bath And the hemi penis still looks alive i cant find the prep h thing. so i will be happy if his hemi-penis is still alive until monday or thueseday

I just went threw this with one of my males, i soaked in sugar water for about 2 hours a night, it took about 4-5 days for it to retract, just keep soaking him and im sure it will go back in, you have to be patient.
