Thank you! I don't think I've been this excited about hatching a leo since my first one. I have decided that no matter the sex on this little one, he/she is staying with me for a very very very long time.

Late last night I weighed him/her, only 2.6 grams, not all that big. It has also made it's first pooh, this morning. Still pretty fat belly for the rest of the body, but I can see a nice amount of yolk still left to digest.

Have only gotten a few peaks at the eyes, doesn't like to open them, and I don't blame him/her, it's a scary world out here. However it's neat to see how red they are compared to the other albino strains.

I finally got a picture of him/her with his/her eyes open. Look at what a fat body that is......I think it's got a lot more yolk in there to digest still. Any other thoughts on that? Excuse the pooh.

Yeah Strongbad, kind of gets around doesn't he? LOL I'm hoping this little one turns out to be a male also, to have another male Bell on hand, otherwise Strongbad is going to have one busy season next year.

He had his first shed and finally absorbed the yolk he was holding on to. He has also become more active now that he can put all four legs down at once...lol.

Yes I am. The funny thing is his skin was pulled so tight around his tummy that you couldn't see any of his color very well. Now I see COLOR!!!
