i finally got my first leo gecko yesterday and as promised from my intro post here is a pic if i can get it to work lol the pic was taken on my mobile fone so its not a great one hope you like her

Congrats! Do you know its sex, does it have a name? =D

I would advise against that wood chip though...

Very cute Leo you have! Like the others said, the wood chips are a health risk as they could cause impaction. The best substrates to use are tile, paper towels, newspaper,... Pretty much any solid (not loose) substrate.

Aside from that, name, age, sex?

yeah i am going to get some reptile carpet thats what the set up came with.. then read afterwoods that wood chip can be as bad as sand so gonna change that.... she is a female and has no name yet i cant decide .... but i think she needs a special name as all the normals i have seen all have a lot more spots than my lady does so i think a special name for a special lady is in order... i love her to bits.... she is my first reptile... and wont be my last i have got the retile addiction every one seems to get... not that i mind lol ..... i got hwr on thursday and she was all adventurous for the day and then at noght ate about 3 crickets .. but since then she has been hiding.... i thought i was going to be lucky and she was gona settle straight away ,,, but no she tricked me lol so i shall have to wait now for her to come out and say hello again

well i have just noticed she has been to the toilet at one end so she is coming out while im not there.... ckeeky girl... i wonder if she will come out tonight lol.... i shall have to stay there and be quite for a while later on to see if i spot her coming out lol..

if any one wants to help name her i would be greatfull.. thanks
