54 dollars for the wood,nails and wood glue. another 52 dollars for the iris tubs and im ordering flexwatt 3 inch plus alife thermostat shipped for 111.00.so total is around 220.00 not bad.

Yeah, I've wondered about heat tape. It sounds like a really great heating form but I don't know where you can get it.

The problem with most containers is that they have small ribs on the underside which prevents good contact with the heat tape. Not sure how importanrt that is or if the tape just has to be close to the bottom but not touching it diirectly.
