My Gecko Appreciates Affection?

I think this is an odd topic and people may tell me I'm wrong entirely, but hear me out.

I've had my baby Brodee for coming up on a year now. He's been well acclimated for months and absolutely loves being handled (he's quick to climb onto my hand any time I open his tank, and will occasionally try to walk back out when it's time to go home). I decided one day to try giving him chin pets, and he surprisingly didn't back away. Now, some months after the first attempt, he'll push his head into my finger when I give him pets, and doesn't mind much if my hand gets shaky on him.

So I THINK I know he likes pets. BUT.. when he pushes his head into me, could that be a sign of stress? You can see him do it once for sure in the video provided. He never rubs his nose into me, but he'll occasionally push his head up into my finger when I pet his head for a couple seconds and then casually pull his head away again. Does this seem to be him trying to push me away with his head, or is it more likely that he would just move away if he didn't like the pets?

I've owned a lot of geckos and some of them do seem to respond to human interaction. If your geckos seems OK with it and possibly initiates, I'd say go with it and don't worry about it. We may never know for sure but as long as it's thriving, it's OK in my opinion to assume the best.
