My girl Vada

I have had Vada a little over a year. She came to me without a tail, as for some reason she lost her tail in the community tank at PetCo... and as a "damaged" animal she was adopted out for free, my best friend worked there at the time and I knew I was the "Zoo Lady" and thought I would be interested so I took her in. She has regrown the majority of her tail but I think she is small for her age compared to some of the photos of other 1 year old females I have seen on this forum.

I am unsure what color Vada is so if anyone can shed some light on that subject it would be greatly appreciated!

She is currently in a 10g. but I plan to move her to a 15 in the next few weeks.

Welcome to GeckoForums! Your girl is a Super Hypo Carrot Tail, and she is also a Baldy (meaning no head spots!). Are the dark spots on her feet just dark pigmentation?

Thank you.. after looking at ALOT of photos SHCTB was my best guess but with the fact that she came from a PetCo I wasn't comfortable saying for sure.

In those pictures she still had some shed left on her feet that I helped pull later.. but in general her feet do have darker pigmentation.


Thank you for letting me know what color she is. I have been wracking my brain for 2 days looking up all the different morphs and trying to understand them. I am looking forward learning more from all of you and maybe possibly getting another female or two in the future!
