That might work. Like I said, you don't even really need a light, just get a UTH.

Also, you should have an enclosed area with moist papertowels so it gets nice and humid - like a sauna. A tupperware container with a hole cut in big enough for the gecko to get in works fantastic.

Yeah the holes on the side of the hide I have are now blocked off, and inside it has wet paper towels that I check frequently. :D
