well I contacted the seller they told me its my fault...Ive had her for 2 days.

Well no refund and no money to buy a new one from a GOOD breeder. :(

Im going to do all i can for her but i was really hoping to one day breed her. Time to start saving again to start all over :(

I just hope she doesnt die on me...my son would be so upset (hes 3) Calls her Crunchy because of when she eats worms she crunches them.

poor Crunchy.. from the latest pics it looks pretty severe.. it may take a lot of vet care to get her healthy :( this is such a terrible thing. what an aweful person they must have been! buuuuttttt if you want to keep her theres no reason (if shes healthy enough) that she cant make a wonderful companion for your son :)

Wow that is a good case of denial there and the fastest MBD to ever develop.

Most people from CL and Kijiji either do not know how to care for the animals they breed or they just don't care and are in it to make money (which can be very difficult to actually do, once over head costs are factored in).

Best thing to do now. Just keep her as a pet and hope for the best.

I just hope she doesnt die on me...my son would be so upset (hes 3) Calls her Crunchy because of when she eats worms she crunches them.

As long as there are no other conditions and just the MBD, I would think that she would be alright, but I am no vet nor have had experience with MBD.

I am sorry about your terrible experiance with this breeder. I've seen quite a bit of things like this happen lately, and it makes me sad that these types of sellers are in the reptile hobby...anyways...

This gecko needs a good exam from a herp-friendly veterinarian. She probably needs a full set of xrays to evaluate bone density and added calcium supplements to her diet, most likely given in liquid form....and maybe even an injection or two. She needs to have a fecal sample run to check for parasites, and she should probably be dewormed no matter what the outcome of that.

I think that as long as you START TREATMENT NOW, you have a good chance of saving this little one.

Niagara falls Ontario is the location ive been searching for a vet.

And macksnow...contact me when the time comes and ill see what i can do.

Thank you to everyone who has given advice. Im doing all I can for this little girl...she seems happy. She comes flying up to the glass when i enter the room. I leave the lights off at all times the room she is in...I have a red heat bulb just to help the ambient temps...I have a heat pad under the tank and temps are great.

Hopefully she can come around a little bit. Going to visit the rep stores in the area tomorrow if i can get the car out...huge storm today. I got calcium and I have been coating EVERYTHING...im worried about her humid hide...she hates going in it...Im using paper towel for now but ill have to try moss or something.
