Looks very nice, is it carved from a single block? Also what did you use for shaping/carving, the cuts look very clean, something heat based?

I like this... it looks really natural. Can't wait to see how the finished terrarium looks. Are you adding substrate and foliage? What size were the foam pieces you used?

As a substrate i am using sand which i mix with loam so it gets very hard after it dries. Or maybe i make a rocky bottom, which I can take out and clean easily.

You can use any size styrofoam you want. By glueing them together you can create the basic shapes and then cut them with a hot wire cutter or a hot knife.

When it's finished i'll put some fake desert plants to cover up some of the bad spots where the sand didnt stick. I hope its all finished this saturday, Houten expo is this Sunday and I am picking up my gecko's there. I do have a 60*40 and a 50*40 terra which could act as temp homes tho.
