So I got a Leopard gecko 2 months ago, It comes out at night but it mostly comes out when I get ready to feed it. The big mistake I made was I found out about a reptile expo and breeders after I bought it from ++++++++. I mean it's ok, looks pretty good. The only thing I notice is it's necked looks bulged out and a leg looks a bit funky, but that could be me being paranoid. Idk if its getting ready to shed or it its sick with its neck, but its been like that for awhile. The thing I hate now that I realize I bought a lizard from a chain store is that it doesn't like to be handled. Now I know it could take awhile but I followed a lot of steps and watched a ton of videos and it's still skittish. A fast movement or sudden noise will send it running. I try to put my hand under its belly slowly but it just walks away back under its log. It'll walk to the glass when I say it's name and call to it. I just hope I can tame a store bought reptile. Any tips, help, or just information would help me out a lot. I did a ton of research before I bought one, would help out a lot. Would love to breed it in the future if I can tame it and get it to trust me more. Thanks =)
