So today I just received this handsome little guy from a girl who could not care for him. She has had him for about four months and his previous owners had him for over a year.
He is obviously small for being almost two. He is only about 15 in head to tail. I am not sure if he is a pygmy or stunted. The lady had a uvb but its not known if the other owners did.
But MBD doesn't seem to be an issue, his legs are beautiful, meaty, and he walks/runs fine. His mouth growth is prefect and I do not see any signs of MBD.
We will see if he stays this size.
The pics don't do justice, plus he was stressed from the move. He is a sun good orange in his neck and he has a cute pattern around his eyes.

..I was told he was only five inches so he is only in a twenty. He will be upgraded to a 40.

Sorry for the quality, my camera died.

He does look a little small. Congrats on your new addition. Bearded dragons are a lot of fun!

Ok I decided to name him Dante from Clerks 1 & 2 because I was supposed to get two dragons awhile ago (The lady bailed on me) and I was going to name them ralph and dante...but I will go with just this one guy :)

Best of luck with your little one! He doesn't look stressed at all, no darkening or spots on his belly/neck. ;D

I highly recommend checking out the BD forum at bearded-dragons.com, lots of good information and all your questions answered. :) I'm a devoted member.

What a cutie pie!

Be sure he gets lots of yummy greens and dust his food with vitamins and calcium. He looks a tad thin but ok. :)

Glad he's with someone who cares so much :)

You might find he's not stunted forever. I adopted a 4 year old beardie last year who had an early history of neglect (not from the person I got her from). I was told she was small because of this. I don't know if she's grown since I didn't measure her, but next to the few other beardies I've seen she looks huge. I know she's gained at least 150 grams. You may be surprised in not too long.
