So do anyone of you know an awesome vet near Lexington KY? She's a 5-6 month old blizzard... in a 10gal long, on newspaper, 3 hides w/ uth, humidity and temp gradient. I try smaller superworms and waxworms... She was eating and pooping great up until I started noticing something this week. I had cleaned her cage last week... and she's only pooped once since. I have had her since August 21 I think...

She's the first one in this set.

Thanks for any help.

I watching her drink water right now.

I would recommend to raise her temp up to 94-95 on the hot side ground.
Superworms are not very healthy unless properly gutloaded. Are you using Calcium with D?

Are carrots and a basic worm food mix not enough for gut loading?

Calcium with D3... yes. What's the difference between D and D3?

Calcium with D3... yes. What's the difference between D and D3?

They need both 1 with D and 1 without and should be phosphorus free. Do you mean the wheat bran that already comes in a cup with the worms?

Nah... Dry rice baby food and a bag of worm food from thewormcompany.com

Also... would the lack of calcium w/o D, be causing her this much grief?

No, It's just best to keep a small dish with plain calcium in the enclosure so that she can lick it up as needed. Does her feces look normal?

I normally place the calcium in one half of the feeding bowl. Then drop the worm(s) in there; however, I leave the calcium for a cpl days then change it.

Her poop looks normal... If compared to my older and healthy leo, but it's few and far between.

So maybe i should change her diet? Mealies? I don't think she's strong enough to hunt down a cricket.

Try not handling her for a few days. Stress can cause many issues especially when they are young. It can also be the temps are a bit low so she is not able to digest fast enough. If she continues to look lethargic even after you raise the temps then a vet visit is in order.

See, sometimes people say lethargic, when they just mean less active. What your describing now is real lethargy. There is definately a problem and she should be seen soon.

I agree about the vet visit... This thread was basically for my own sanity until the start of the week. I may try a new feeder tomorrow anyways...

I also gave her a cpl days mid week to chill... Hoping it was stress. Nothing changed with her.

If she wasn't lethargic I would tell you to soak her to remove that shed, but I fear the stress of a bath can make things worst. Try dabbing her nose softly and carefully with a wet rag to help remove the shed of her nose.
