Superworms and waxworms should not ever be everyday feeders. Too much fat content. Try mealworms, crickets or roaches as everyday feeders. Waxworms and superworms should only be fed about once a month for a treat. They don't really have any nutritional value. Kind of like JUNKFOOD for geckos.

I disagree completely about superworms not having any nutritional value and only feeding them about once per month... maybe others will have the time to elaborate. Thanks.

Well, it's not that they don't have any nutritional value, but considered poor when compared to other feeders. Overall they are high in fat which I believe is not ideal due to the size of a leopard gecko and their lack of activity in captivity.

i think what they are trying to say is that it should not be a main staple feeder especially with the fat content. feeders should be alternated to offer your gecko variety and nutrition:main_thumbsup:...never heard of a strict staple of superworms.
