My Newest (SAD STORY)

I was at work today (after being gone for one day) and I was feeding all the babies mealworms as I always do...and I came across this poor little guy. He was missing his entire LEG! It must have happened the one day I was gone. :( I was told to just keep the wound clean and apply the healing aid twice or three times a day. He has already ate a mealworm tonight.

I'm hoping for the best : /

Any other advice would be VERY appreciated.

Yeah. He's alone now.

I mean, I do ALL I can for these guys at work...

But, I'm only one person..and I can't control how the company runs...

All I can do is my best. : (

Oh geez, that's very sad....I've seen wounds like that heal up before though so I would just be sure he stays hydrated and use some Neosporin....Good luck! :)

If one thing about these animals is true, is that they bounce back once they get the proper care, im really pulling for this little guy.

Thank GOODNESS for people like you. That little gecko is lucky to have you. :main_yes: Did you get to take him home or does he have to stay at the store?

That poor thing! I've seen a few like that. Luckily he's young so he'll have lots of time to learn how to adapt with a missing leg. I agree, Tripod is a cute name.

awwww he is a cutie. I hope he continues to do well for you and makes a complete recovery. Many animals learn to adapt to having 3 limbs and live almost normal lives. Best wishes to you and the little one!!!

He is still alive. But, I haven't gotten to eat since I brought him home. I guess it's only been 2 days though..
