All right, here are some pics of my beloved leos, Bob, Larry, and Shadow. Despite their names, all three are females- that's what I get for letting my son name them! I'd appreciate anyone's opinions on morph ids- for the second two, especially. For what it's worth, all three of them were bought at a chain pet store and were not sold as being any specific morph. (I know there are some strong opinions on chain pet stores here, but I'd rather not turn this into a debate, please :) ) Pic quality isn't exactly wonderful, but that's my camera at the moment.

Here's Bob- the SHTCTB:

This is Larry, who is...some kind of albino, I guess, but I'm not really clear on how to tell the difference between them :main_huh: Larry seems to have a striped pattern on the body- I've been calling her a striped albino, but I have no idea if that is a "real" morph or not *laughs*

Closer up of Larry's stripes...

...and tail.

And my newest little acquisition, Shadow. What in the world is she??? :main_huh: (And I gotta really apologize for the blurriness of these pics- she didn't hold still for a second when I was trying to take them!)

Awesome! Shadow looks like a very dark murphys patternless.. But it's hard to tell, if you picked shadow up from a petstore then she could be dark from the lack of heat, but then again I could be completely wrong lol.

I agree that Shadow is a murphy's patternless. With Larry I have 2 possibilities: it's most likely she's an aptor (tremper albino, patternless stripe) but you could also call her a hybino (superhypotang albino). In my opinion, it all comes down to whether she is a stripe or not and based on the tail she's at least a jungle.

I can't help you with the morphs but the names crack me up :] I'm having the same problem with mine since I got him from a chain pet store.

Answering everyone at once here...

I got Shadow from a big chain pet store- same as the other two :main_yes: I hadn't thought of the possibility that her color might be darker due to low temps, and I suppose it's possible, but I doubt it- there were several other little geckos in the same cage and none of them seemed particularly dark- a couple were albinos, in fact, and looked quite light-colored. Shadow was really unique- nothing else like her at all.

And, lol, yeah, the names...all my son's fault, I tell you :main_rolleyes:

Thanks so much for the opinions so far :main_thumbsup:
