The bottom one is currently being occupied by Winston and Leeroy and my top one by Lavern (who is in quarantine as only purchased her Sunday plus she's 3 months younger than my other 2) :D

nice but personnally I'd have put the heat mats on the viv floors (leo's need belly heat to digest) and ditched the heat lamps in favour of red night veiwing lights ;)

If you noticed the setups, I dont think that putting the UTH's on the floor is possible :D
lol yes it is :main_thumbsup: :D I use the same type wooden vivs (a lot of vivs sold here in the UK are this sort) and it's dead simple to fit the UTH inside along with a stat ;)

I did use to have the heatmats on the floor but it didn't fit properly which is why I put it along the side (thanks Emily), I did read up on it and its meant to be okay. Also the lights are red lights and are set on a timer which go on throughout the day every 2 hours for 15 mins and then go completely off in the night :) Plus the red light heats up there log things which get a little bit warm and then lie on that (providing belly heat) :)

measure the temp on the floor of the vivs with either a infrared thermometer or a digital with a prob to make sure the floor temps are right. The one thing that would worry me is that heat rises and the floor on the top one may be getting hotter than you think. As long as the temps on the floors (not the air temp) stay around 90 (hot end) 84 (cool end) during day and 80 (hot end) 75 (cool end) at nite it doesn't really matter how you heat it.
