Breeding was Afghan Tremper double het. Eclipse, Patty x Afghan Eclipse het. Tremper poss. het. patty. Incubation temperature was 89-90 degrees (no loss of power or temp drops) hatched at 35 days. Hatchling X was full developed and absorbed all the yolk sac and seems to be of average or normal hatchling size.
At first, I thought it was a super light Eclipse, but after sending photo's to three breeders who've hatched and seen way more Leopard geckos than I have for their opinion, all three said "Albino".
Hatchling X shows no signs of light sensitivity which albino's show, ie closing eyes or running away. After further inspecting hatchling X's eyes, they're black! So what I've been able to infer at this point is hatchling X has an albino's body (pink body with yellow bands associated with Tremper albino's) and a dark tail (not associated with high temperature Tremper albino's) with black eyes (associated with an Eclipse non-albino's). Paradox albino...or something else?
May 12th Photo taken hours after hatching.
May 14th hatchling X
May 16th hatchling X after shed.
