I withheld my vote from the other poll, but I still think it was worthy of discussion.

Bottom line, the choice stays with the individual what they call a gecko. And *Surprise* ... there's not a whole lot anyone can do to pull others on board. Either the name catches on, or it doesn't. :main_yes:

I personally will excercise my right to make my own choice.

You know, at first I really liked the thread, JUST because of the topic, not because it singled out anyone in particular, but because it was food for thought, one of those things people dont think much of normally.

HOWEVER! I think the thread got too personal, and went in the wrong direction fast. Had I been singled out, and talked to like that, I wouldnt have been NEARLY as nice, "friendly debate" aside.

Marcia, I don't doubt that at all. I also think those that felt addressed by the topic were bound to take it personally eventually. There's nothing you could have done to stop that I don't believe.

Any member here on this Forum has the right to post a poll if they are interested in knowing how others think of feel about a subject. A poll is a very safe way to express individual opinions... especially for those who don't feel comfortable with posting dialogue. Heck, why not post a poll asking members if THIS poll was worthwhile?
