My youngest Ino is 6months old and iv had her for 2months handled her daily but shes a naughty little bugger still.
the second i put a little bit of pressure of her to holder her so she doesnt run, she will freak out and run and wriggle until shes free, i wont trust her out side viv as its the same thing everday she will end up getting out my hands.

Does anyone have tips for handling them?

Thanks :)

Instead of grabbing, try to urge them to freely walk on to your hand. I sometimes tap their tail so they'll walk onto my hand laid out in front of them. They also like to walk across my hands. None of mine like to be "squeezed".

Ah okay, i do that also but she will be walking on my hand to the other over and over and then she'll start to run and it seems like she panics abit :(

If mine gets bored with his surroundings, is forced to keep moving for a long time, and/or finds himself "up in the air" too long, he will also start to get squirmy and try to escape. I sit down in an open, safe place (with his cage or another container nearby in case playtime ends abruptly) and let him walk up my arm or leg, and he will move around at his leisure, stopping frequently to rest or warm himself up.

It's certainly not "naughty" for a tiny animal to panic when you grab it, but if you do need to guide her I suggest gentle pressure/touch from the sides (making sure she can see your hand before you touch her). My leo is old and quite tame, so he actually enjoys gentle hand pressure (never from the top or near the head/tail, though!), presumably because it feels like the safe walls of his den. He often prefers to follow narrow "tunnels" I make with my hands and arms rather than venturing away from me and into the open. This way I have a little control over where he's going without having to physically hold him in my hands all the time.
