Well then you need to take it to the vet..there really isn't much you can do.
Check the temps of your tank and just offer her.
But if she is that skinny she needs something asap
Then you have to go buy it. I am sorry, but your gecko needs help.
And that baby food doesn't even cost alot.
Buying a gecko in the first place means getting ready to take measures like vet trips.
This slurry would probably cost $20 to make it, and it would last forever. For the vet visit all the really do for reptiles is check a fecal sample, that will be another $30, meaning just get some pop in a plastic bag, if she is pooping. The slurry is actually to allow you to get a fecal sample. One last thing, check and make sure a cricket leg isn’t stuck in her teeth or anything silly like that, I’ve heard stories of geckos dying of anorexia for something simple like this.
heres how i open my geckos mouth. get a popsicle stick and get it in his mouth and then turn it CAREFULY. if its still a baby then you need to be careful. also how long has this been going on? what are the temps? substrate? and if you cant make some of marcias slurry then you should get some vegatable chicken baby food about 50 cents at target.
Hey Adam what are you feeding him?? Mine was doing the same thing, but then I switched her food from crickets to mealworms, and shes eating fine now! Try introducing a new food to him. Theres a chance hes just bored like mine was. Good Luck!
Here's how it works...you buy a gecko, you take care of it. If you're using sand, switch to reptile carpet, and as you may not have the money for that, then go and just use paper towels. If you have a heat rock in there, take it out. You need a humid hide, and at least a ten gallon tank. AdamSkates you need to go, tell your mom to let you bring your gecko to the vet, and in the meantime, get the slurry done and feeding it to your thin Leo. Part of having a pet is knowing information about them in times like this, and having the money to take care of it. Waxworms are like candy, stop feeding them if you are; they'll just get addicted and eat nothing else. Good luck with your Leo, and I hope you can do something to help it.
