Need temp Control help

I think I need to get a thermostat. My hot side is on a rheostat and it bounces all over the place. Yesterday all day perfect, this morning too cold, then too hot. :wall: I have a Zoomed UTH. What thermostat is best.

I use herpstat proportional and you set it and forget it. Ever since I bought it i never had to adjust it. But then again it only makes sense to buy one if you have a breeding rack, multiple cages.:main_thumbsup:

A relatively inexpensive non-proportional thermostat is the Alife or ESU (they look the same to me, just have different names on them). They run less than $30, or at least they did a few years ago. There is one model where you can plug in one UTH and another where you can plug in 3. Some people have complained that they have malfunctioned and gotten too hot, but I"ve been using up to 6 or 8 for the past 4 years with no problems.
