Need to know if this is serious?

My bigger male gecko had something out his vent and it was white im not sure if it was urate or not. It didnt look dry looked fairly fresh. He kept licking it so I was about to get the camera and take a pic but then he suddenly ate it. Does anyone have any idea what that was? My first thought was prolapse but obviously not. Should I be worried?

It could be urates or a sperm plug.

I'd say sperm (plug). Marly does it once a day. He would raise up his tail, "open" his vent and there will be 2 drop of white sticky stuff (1 left 1 right), and then he'll clean that off.
