Ok so the rescues I'm getting tomorrow are currently housed together in a 20L. Have been their whole lives (1.5 years), so I'm told. It's a male and a female and first thing I want to do is get them separated. Unfortunately, the 20L has no heating whatsoever and all I have right now are in the setups for my hatchlings. About a 7-8 gallon (15 x 10.5 inches of floor space) set of drawer tubs and a 6 gallon (16 inches in the back, 8 in the front, 4 on all sides. No idea how much floor space that is. Been a while since I've taken geometry lol) hexagonal tank. I was thinking I could just put them in one of those. Probably the female would go in the tank, and the male in one of the tub drawers.

Once she's up to weight and I can see for sure she's healthy, I'll try and introduce the female to my other SHTCT female and hopefully they'll get along as I'd like to have them live together. The male would be, of course, living on his own. But back in his 20L as soon as I get a heater for it.

So, what do you guys think? Could I keep these two in the much smaller, but heated setups for the time being? There's room to climb and run around, especially for geckos who are so skinny and it wouldn't be for more than a month or so.

Anybody? I dont want to put them in small enclosures if it's going to negatively effect them. Especially since I'm going to be trying to get their weight up.
